Birstall Running Club Swithland 6 2026
This is a 6 mile, one lap race on the route around Swithland Reservoir held on 7 June 2026. The course is described as undulating and follows roads and pavements.
The event location is Halstead Road Playing Fields, Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, LE12 7HE. The maximum number of entrants is 750 and entries close on 3 June 2026. Transfers close on 2 June 2026. Entries are initially open only to LRRL members for the first seven days after launch; if places remain, applications or transfers from non LRRL members are permitted.
Race licence number 30806 is applied to the event and a Certificate of Course Accuracy is recorded as 22/172. The minimum age for entry is 15 on the day of the event. Junior runners must be members of an affiliated club that has a safeguarding policy and that has a club officer holding a current Athletics DBS certificate present at the race.
Organiser terms note no deferrals or refunds, duplicate entries will be cancelled, and no on-the-day entries are available. For safety reasons the use of headphones, ear buds, or bone-conductors is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Car sharing is advised; single occupancy vehicles may be asked to park on nearby streets and no parking is allowed on Halstead Road. The event is currently full.
