Race for Life Derby 10k
The event takes place at Markeaton Park in Derby and offers two measured distances for participants aged 16 and over. Available distances are listed below.

- 5k
The start and finish are on the grass field in the centre of the park. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k course. The course uses a mixture of grass field, woodland paths and main park paths. There is an up and down hill section of about 100 metres and a gravel section of about 80 metres. Course layouts may be adjusted in poor weather.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and access is provided for wheelchair users. The event is chip timed. Bag drop and showers are not available and the course is not suitable for pushchairs. Cycling storage is not provided.
Parking is available at Mundy Play Centre car park and the University of Derby Kedleston Road car park; spaces are limited and normal charges apply. Blue badge parking will be available at Markeaton Park car park and the Mundy Play Centre car park. The nearest train station is Derby, around a 25 minute walk to the main event site. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Ticket prices shown are £17.49 for participants aged 16 and over and £11.00 for children.
