Parking is free and there are toilets onsite. The Taproom will be open after the event for food, drinks and refreshments. The nearest train station is Market Harborough and the venue is about seven minutes from Junction 3 of the A14.

Course and format

The route is an out-and-back from the Taproom along the Griffin Trail and Brampton Valley Way. The lap length is 3.3 miles. Surface is mostly crushed stone; a recently resurfaced section is noted and there is one grass section of about 100 m. The course is relatively flat with gentle climbs, runs between arable farm fields and is largely exposed rather than under tree cover. Entrants complete as many laps as they wish within a six-hour time limit.

  • Half marathon: 4 laps
  • Marathon: 8 laps

A GPX file for the route is available. The Taproom location will be used for the first time for this course; the organiser has run 100+ similar events at other venues.

Entry, rules and extras

Entry fees are tiered: £37 before 3 May 2026 and £42 after that date; unaffiliated entrants pay £2 extra. The event is suitable for rucking. An on-demand option via a route app is offered and medals or tree tokens are provided to finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
