Event overview
The Griffin Challenge is a six-hour running event organised by Big Bear Events at Braybrooke Taproom, Market Harborough LE16 8LJ. The event uses a lap format: participants complete as many 3.3-mile out-and-back laps as they wish within the six-hour limit. Entrants must be at least 16 years old on the event date. This is the first time the event will be held at this Taproom.
Course, facilities and rules
The route follows the Griffin Trail and Brampton Valley Way. Most of the surface is crushed stone; there is one short grass section of about 100 m. The course is relatively flat with gentle climbs and runs through arable farm fields with little tree cover. Parking is free and toilets are onsite. The Taproom will be open after the event for food and drink. Dogs are not permitted. Rucking is allowed. A GPX file of the route is available.
