Derby Pretty Muddy 5k
The Derby Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle event held at Markeaton Park in Derby (DE22 4AA) on Saturday 05 Jun 2027. The event uses a 5 km Pretty Muddy course where participants climb, crawl and slide through a series of obstacles. The start and finish are on the grass field in the centre of the park. The course covers a mixture of terrains and is described as suitable for walking, jogging or running.
Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes. Groups are advised to book the same wave time if they wish to start together. To take part in the main Pretty Muddy course participants must be 13 years of age or older; Pretty Muddy Kids events are available separately for younger children. Child entry is for ages 6 to 15 and children must be registered and accompanied by a parent, guardian or an adult with parental consent. Children under 6 may accompany a registered adult free of charge but are not registered participants.
Ticket prices listed for the event are £25.49 for adults and £15.00 for children, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. The event provides on-site refreshments and toilets and parking with limited spaces; blue badge parking is available approximately 500 m from the event site. The site notes that the start and finish areas are on grass and may become soft or muddy in wet weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
