Event details
The Big Cork Wine Run is a chip-timed 5k held on April 11, 2026 at Big Cork Vineyards, 4236 Main Street, Rohrersville, MD. The event is professionally timed and scored by J3 Timing and results will be posted online. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors may register at a discounted rate but do not receive the wine glass or a wine pour.
Course and participation
The course starts and finishes at the winery and tours the vineyards. It is a cross-country style route with some uneven terrain and is laid out as two laps; participants who choose to complete only one lap should notify the timer. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers can participate free and do not need to register. Only service dogs are permitted on site. Age group awards are offered for top finishers in the age categories, with awards available for pickup on the day of the event; there will be no award ceremony. Packet pickup is held on race morning only. Virtual participation is available, either by picking up a packet and running independently or by requesting a shipped packet for an additional handling charge.
