Event summary
The 2025 HCC Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Hagerstown Community College, 11400 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21742. The event program includes a 5K run/walk, the Mashed Potato Kids Race, and a Pooch Pack. Course maps and race details will be emailed to participants and posted at the event.
Course and additional details
The 5K is a 3.1 mile loop-style course that runs on HCC's campus and Yale Drive. The route is on paved roadways and finishes inside the ARCC on a mondo surface. Packet pickup is available on race morning. The event hosts an annual food and toy drive: participants are asked to bring canned or other nonperishable goods, and representatives from Toys for Tots will collect new, unwrapped toys. Each donated item earns a ticket for entry into prize bundle drawings; winning tickets will be drawn at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
