The Speed 5K Test
The Speed 5K Test is the series finale organised by Best Athletics. It is a 5 km race held in Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ, UK. The course is UKA approved and described as flat and fast. The route uses looped laps around the Boating Lake and starts and finishes at the bandstand. Kilometre signs mark the course and the route is fully marked and marshalled.
Race-day services and inclusions are listed for participants. The event package includes finisher goodies, a pair of Versus socks, timing results, free professional photos and Science in Sport fuel. Race packs are collected on the day at the event HQ, which is located next to the Battersea Park bandstand. There is a secure bag drop area and water is available at the event HQ. Two public toilets in the park are noted to be about a five-minute walk from the start area.
