Event overview
The Midweek Medal Madness Run takes place on 17 April 2026 and is organised by Saturn Running. The event is a 7-hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how far they run, with a minimum finishing distance of 3 km. Walkers are permitted and the event includes multiple lap-based distance options.

A full lap is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles), but the lap may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. It is three laps for a half marathon, six laps for a marathon, and seven or more laps for an ultra. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer distances and are attached to the medal ribbon.
Course and facilities
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames, is fully signed, and is mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year-round. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue and a non-secure bag drop is provided.

Standard entry fees range from £18 to £27. A £20 entry option is available only to members; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini-me medal pin.
