Chase the Sun Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k & 10k
The Chase The Sun event takes place on 15th April 2026 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, running through the North Park grounds in London. Participants can choose a chip timed 5k or 10k on a tarmac course with an elevation of approximately 3 m.
The course is set out in laps: the 5k is two laps and the 10k is four laps. Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course to guide and encourage runners. The event provides a themed medal, water, free race photos, chip timed results and post race goodies.
RunThrough operates an event village with food and drink options and complimentary items from partners at the finish area. The event names Special Olympics Great Britain as its 2026 Charity of the Year; the charity provides year round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
