About the race
Believe in the Gold’s 13th annual run is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at Peace Park in Calgary (8 St SW & 2 Ave SW). The foundation supports children with childhood cancer by helping families, raising awareness, and assisting research initiatives.
The event program includes breakfast or snacks, running events and a family fun walk, plus a family-friendly festival with bouncy castles, face painting, crafts, magicians, and costumed characters. Entertainment and the kids zone are presented throughout the late morning and early afternoon.

- 5 km run
- 2 km family fun walk
Race package pickup is available at Shawnessy BARN, 224 Shawmeadows Rd SW, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the late afternoon and evening. There is also pickup at Peace Park for out-of-town participants.
Hero capes were guaranteed for participants registered before August 25, 2026. The event also offers a virtual participation option for people across Canada.
