Tsuut'ina Trail Run, 7th Annual
The Tsuut'ina Trail Run takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Tsuut'ina Cultural Museum (64 Old Agency Road, Tsuut'ina Nation). The event is presented as a grassroots trail race of about 12.2 km with a single SOLO race category.
Organizers report that the 2026 event will be subsidized to keep participant costs low; the entry fee for 2026 is $55.00. In previous years a portion of fees and sponsorships supported the Tsuut'ina Disability Program.
The course runs through land normally closed 364 days of the year and includes mountain views, extensive raw single-track, significant elevation changes, and four river crossings. The event program includes an opening ceremony featuring a welcome prayer, remarks by Tsuut'ina leadership and the race director, and a traditional drum song. A post-race celebration is planned with a BBQ lunch, draw prizes, and race swag: a technical hat and a running jacket for all runners.
