Dino Dash 2026
Dino Dash 2026 is a community running event at Foothills Athletic Park in northwest Calgary on September 13, 2026. The event raises funds in support of the University of Calgary Dinos Track and Field and Cross Country programs. Organizers report that $150,000 has been contributed to support scholarships, competition opportunities and uniforms.
Race offerings include multiple options for different participants:
- Kids event: track and field activities run by Athletics Alberta
- 5 km with student and stroller categories available
- 10 km with student and stroller categories available
Package pickup is scheduled at Strides Running Store in Marda Loop on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Entry fees include a Dino Dash technical running shirt, an exclusive finisher medal, a personalized race bib if registered in time, chip timing, and post race food, celebration and beer garden. The event also provides an opportunity to support the University of Calgary Dinos Cross-Country and Track and Field teams through fundraising.
