Dino Dash 2026
Dino Dash 2026 takes place at Foothills Athletic Park, Crowchild Trail Northwest, Calgary, Alberta, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The event supports the University of Calgary Dinos Track and Field and Cross Country teams.
The race was conceived in 2004 by two University of Calgary students to increase funding for the Dinos. Since its inception, CA$150,000 has been contributed to provide scholarships, competition opportunities and uniforms.
Multiple race formats and pricing tiers are offered, including student and stroller categories and staggered pricing levels such as door crasher, early bird, regular and late registration. A kids event hosted by Athletics Alberta introduces children to track and field with running, jumping and throwing activities.

Package pickup is held at Strides Running Store Marda Loop the day before the race. Entry includes a Dino Dash technical running shirt, an exclusive finisher medal, a personalized race bib if registered in time, post-race food and a beer garden, and chip timing. Participants must not give their bib to another person; bib transfer can result in disqualification and possible bans. Awards and prizing follow the race.
