The Beccles Triathlon takes place on 7 June 2026 in Beccles, Suffolk, centered on Beccles Lido in Puddingmoor. The event offers 200 places and has a closing date of 5 June 2026. Entry categories and pricing listed by the organiser include individual and relay options: individual entries are priced at £60 (early price £50 until 1 Jan 2026), relay teams £75. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member; the Race Pass cost for participants aged 24 and under is £2.00 plus £0.08 service charge, and otherwise £8.00 plus £0.32 service charge. When the entry list is full, a waiting list opens automatically.
Course and results
The event is a sprint-distance triathlon with the following legs:
- 420 m swim (14 lengths) in the heated outdoor pool at Beccles Lido
- 20.3 km cycle through Gillingham and Geldeston, via Ditchingham and Wainford Maltings
- 6.7 km run via Beccles Quay and the Waveney River towpath, finishing at the Lido
The bike route is designed to use only left turns. Marshals will be positioned along the course. A prize giving follows the event with trophies for overall male and female finishers, the top relay team, places and age-group winners. Age-group trophy categories include Under 20 (17-19), Open (under 40), Veteran (under 55) and Super Veteran (55 plus). Published times will include British Triathlon Federation 5-year age groups.
