Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k
The Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Springfield, Michigan (2815 6th Avenue, ZIP 49037). The event offers the following race options:

Course, logistics and policies
Both in-person courses start at the Territorial Brewing Company brewing facility and pass through the Field of Flight grounds, where runners use the runways and may see balloon launches (weather permitting). Runners then continue on the streets and boulevards of Battle Creek and finish at the start location. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit (about a 16 min/mile average pace).
Packet pick-up includes an early pick-up (dates and times to be determined) and race day pick-up at the start/finish location; friends or family may pick up packets for participants. Virtual participant packets are mailed within one week of the event, may be run anytime, and include the same participant items as in-person entries; reporting a virtual time is optional.
Participants may transfer between in-person and virtual entries, between distances (fees or cost differences may apply), or transfer registration to another runner up to the close of registration. If the in-person event cannot occur, all participants will be moved to the virtual event and there are no refunds.
An optional "Breakfast and Brews" add-on is available for $10 and includes a hot plated breakfast and a short glass of a Territorial Brewing Company specialty beer; a valid ID is required for alcoholic beverages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
