Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon weekend, April 24 - 25, 2027
The event takes place in downtown Kalamazoo centered at Bronson Park (200 S. Rose Street). All routes are USATF certified and the full marathon course is also certified as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The schedule spans the weekend with races in person and virtual options.
Distances offered include:
- 26.2 Miles full marathon
- 26.2 Miles full marathon relay (teams of 3-5)
- 13.1 Miles half marathon
- 10K run
- 5K run and walk
- 1K kids race
- Virtual options for full, half, 10K, and 5K
Age and course rules vary by event. Examples from the event program:
- Full marathon participants must be at least 16 years old; the course has a 6 hour 30 minute open time and closes on a rolling basis.
- Half marathon participants must be at least 14 years old; the half course is open for 4 hours and closes on a rolling basis.
- Several races require minors to be accompanied by an adult and have specific stroller and dog policies; many in-person events prohibit dogs and strollers on course.
Packet pick-up and an expo are held at Bronson Park on the weekend before and the day of the races. The PNC Kids 1K is scheduled for April 24 with an early packet pick-up opportunity at Gazelle Sports downtown on April 22. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
