Bank of America Chicago 13.1
The Bank of America Chicago 13.1 is a half marathon covering 13.1 miles through Chicago’s West Side. The course starts and finishes in Garfield Park and weaves through historic parks and boulevards with scenic loops through Douglass and Humboldt Parks.
The event includes a free Race Day Festival in Garfield Park that features entertainment, health and wellness activities, and community activations. An Adaptive Program is provided to increase accessibility for athletes with impairments.
General registration for the 2026 event is sold out; entries remain available through the event’s official Charity Program, and only charities participating in that program have access to guaranteed entries. Race day packet pick-up may be purchased for $30 on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 600 participants who select this option.
Participants must be 14 years or older on race day; those aged 14 to 17 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian provided during the application process. Runners are required to complete the course within three hours and 15 minutes (3:15:59). The sale or transfer of entries is prohibited, all fees and ancillary purchases are nonrefundable, and participants must follow applicable public health guidelines and the event rules.
