Bank of America Chicago 13.1

The Bank of America Chicago 13.1 is a half marathon scheduled for June 6, 2027 that covers 13.1 miles through Chicago’s West Side. The course starts and finishes in Garfield Park and includes scenic loops through Douglass and Humboldt Parks as well as historic parks and boulevards on the West Side.

A free Race Day Festival is held outdoors in Garfield Park. The festival includes entertainment, health and wellness activities, and community activations. Live race results and mobile-friendly leaderboards are available online on race day so spectators can follow progress in real time.

The event offers an Adaptive Program to provide accessibility for athletes with impairments. Event rules and public health guidelines apply to all participants.

Entry and participation requirements include:

  • Minimum age of 14 years on race day.
  • Participants aged 14 to 17 must have parent or legal guardian permission.
  • Runners must be able to complete the 13.1-mile course within three hours and 15 minutes (3:15:59); the course will reopen for public use on a rolling schedule based on this time limit.
  • Sale or transfer of entries or bib numbers is prohibited and all fees and ancillary purchases are nonrefundable.
