Badge of Hope Haunted 5K
The Badge of Hope Haunted 5K is the second annual community event held on September 26, 2026 at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort & Cabana Cabins, 361 Denton Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823. The event is hosted by the Auburndale Police Department and directs proceeds to local breast cancer patients and the local Police Explorers program.
Distances and formats:
- 3.1 Miles - Haunted 5K, in-person, chip timed
- 3.1 Miles - Virtual Haunted 5K, virtual race option
- 1 Mile - Mummy Mile, untimed Fun Run Walk
Early packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Camp Margaritaville. Day of race packet pickup and registration are available at the same location. Shirts are guaranteed for participants who pre-register before September 6, 2026; after that date shirts are available while supplies last.
The event includes an awards ceremony with multiple categories including overall, masters, grand masters, and five year age groups up to 85 plus. A costume contest and after party are part of the post-race activities. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are available for interested organizations.
