Power in Pink 5K : 8th Annual event in Lakeland
The Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida (BCFCF) organizes the 8th Annual Power in Pink 5K on September 19, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, FL. The course starts and finishes near the church and follows the trail around Lake Hollingsworth. Proceeds support BCFCF programs that help local families affected by breast cancer cover essentials such as rent, groceries, and utilities.
The event features a 5K distance. Registered participants receive event-specific swag, a shirt, and a race bib; shirt size is guaranteed if pre-registered by August 31, 2025. All finishers receive a finisher gift. Awards are presented to the Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters (40+), Overall Grand Masters (50+), Overall Great Grand Masters (60+), and the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 0-9 through 80+. A special award is given to the most “pink-i-fied” male and female participants. Early packet pickup is listed as TBD; packet pickup also occurs on race day and an awards presentation follows the run. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
