Tick Tock Ultra
Tick Tock Ultra is a timed lake-lap running event held at Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, FL. The course is a paved walkway around the lake with each lap measuring 2.84 miles. Participants aim to complete as many laps as possible within the time limits.
Event formats:
- 12 hour individual
- 12 hour 5 person relay
- 6 hour individual
The relay is for teams of three to five members, with one runner from each team on the course at a time. Relay entries are limited to 20 teams. The overall event is capped at 200 entrants.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in both the 6 and 12 hour races, with separate master awards for the next over-40 male and female runners. Each runner or relay team that completes at least 10 laps receives a finisher award. The top two relay teams receive additional overall relay awards.
Food is available at the Runners Village, including pancakes, grilled hotdogs and hamburgers, quesadillas, smoked and grilled chicken, and later in the day smoked pork butt and brisket, along with typical race snacks and beverages. Portions of entry fees benefit the Pheel Good Foundation, the race creators.
Registration is limited and includes deadlines for shirt sizing and bib name printing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
