Event overview
Tick Tock Ultra is a timed lake-lap running event held at Lake Hollingsworth, Lakeland, FL. The course uses a paved walkway around the lake and is based on repeated laps of 2.84 miles. The event is limited to a hard cap of 200 individual entrants. Portions of every entry fee are allocated to the Pheel Good Foundation. Food and drinks are available at a Runners Village, including hot grilled items, snacks, and beverages.
Race formats and awards
Available formats:
- 12-hour individual
- 6-hour individual
- 12-hour relay (teams of 3 to 5)
Relay rules and limits: teams of 3 to 5 members, one team member on course at a time, cumulative lap totals for the team, relay limited to 20 teams. Awards: top three male and female finishers in the 6- and 12-hour races, masters awards for the next over-40 male and female finishers, finisher awards for any runner or relay member completing at least 10 laps, and overall awards for top relay teams.
Registration and records
Registration closes on Sep 24, 2026, and entries received by Sep 1, 2026 guarantee shirt size and name printed on the bib. Current records through 2025 include: 12-hour female 79.52 miles (2014), 12-hour male 82.36 miles (2024), 12-hour relay 110.76 miles (2023), 6-hour female 36.92 miles (2022/2023), and 6-hour male 39.76 miles (2017/2022).
