Tick Tock Ultra : Lakeland, FL
Tick Tock Ultra is a timed lake-lapping event held at Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, Florida. Participants complete repeated paved laps of approximately 2.84 miles around the lake on a maintained walkway. The venue address is 929 Lake Hollingsworth Drive.
Event formats include:
- 12 hour individual race
- 12 hour 5 person relay team
- 6 hour individual race
The relay allows teams of three to five members with one runner from each team on the course at a time. Relay competition is cumulative by team laps and relay entries are limited to 20 teams. Individual and relay finishers who complete at least ten laps receive finisher awards. Top two relay teams receive overall relay trophies.
Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in both the 6 hour and 12 hour events. The next male and female finishers over 40 receive master awards. The event is strictly capped at 200 entrants. Portions of every entry are directed to the Pheel Good Foundation.
Food is available at the Runners Village and includes pancakes, hot dogs, hamburgers, quesadillas, smoked or grilled chicken, smoked pork butt and brisket, plus standard race snacks and beverages.
Current records through 2025 include a 12 hour female distance of 79.52 miles in 2014, a 12 hour male distance of 82.36 miles in 2024, and a 12 hour relay distance of 110.76 miles in 2023. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
