Tick Tock Ultra, Lakeland FL
Held on September 25, 2027 at Lake Hollingsworth, the Tick Tock Ultra is a time based running event that uses repeated laps of a paved walkway around the lake. Participants complete as many 2.84 mile laps as possible within set time windows.
Event formats:
- 12 hour individual race
- 12 hour relay for teams of three to five
- 6 hour individual race
The course starts and finishes near 929 Lake Hollingsworth Drive and follows a paved path that circles the lake. The field is limited to the first 200 entrants; the relay field is limited to 20 teams. Entries received by September 1, 2027 guarantee shirt size and name printed on the bib.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 6 hour and 12 hour races, master awards for the next over 40 male and female, finisher awards for runners or relay teams completing at least ten laps, and overall awards for the top two relay teams.
Food at the Runners Village includes grilled and smoked items such as pancakes, hotdogs, hamburgers, quesadillas, smoked chicken, pork butt and brisket, along with standard race snacks and beverages.
Historical course records through 2025 include 12 hour female 79.52 miles (2014), 12 hour male 82.36 miles (2024), 12 hour relay 110.76 miles (2023), 6 hour female 36.92 miles (2022/2023), and 6 hour male 39.76 miles (2017/2022). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
