Event Overview
The Autumn Breeze Road Race takes place in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Distances
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- 10k Road Race (ages 10-99)
- 5k Adults (ages 19-99)
- 5k Kids (ages 5-18)
All events start and finish at the Uptown Shopping Center on Line Avenue.
Registration and Fees
The standard registration fee starts at $27. This price increases incrementally on August 1st, August 31st, and September 25th, reaching $40 on race day. An option is available during registration to forgo the race sweatshirt and receive a $5 discount.
Participant Perks and Post-Race
Every pre-registered participant receives an official 43rd Anniversary 2026 Sportspectrum Autumn Breeze sweatshirt. A post-race party will offer water, soft drinks, fresh fruit, and possibly Dillas.
Awards
Awards are given for multiple placements in each race category. Overall male and female winners for the 5k and 10k receive $100 Sportspectrum gift certificates. Second-place overall winners receive $50 gift certificates. First and second place in each age group also receive awards.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available at Sportspectrum (6970 Fern Avenue) on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before the race. It is also available on race morning at the Uptown Shopping Center site from 6:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
