Medals are awarded for at least one loop (finisher), 4 loops, 7 loops, and 8+ loops. The last person to complete a loop is declared the overall winner and may receive a Bronze Ticket qualification.
Course and logistics
The course is 100% trail with a mixed trail surface and some technical sections; there are no paved portions. The daytime loop runs around a peninsula with wooded areas and water views along Lake Travis. The nighttime loop uses a different, northern section of the park with distinct terrain and obstacles. Aid stations are provided and there is a designated tent and crew area near the main day-use playground, with limits of one tent and one table per participant or crew.
