Event Overview
The Rodeo Stampede is a running event taking place at the Marble Falls Mustang Stadium. The course utilizes local parks and greenbelts, featuring surfaces that include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. The event is centered around a western theme and includes a cowboy costume contest where a winner is selected based on crowd applause. A DJ provides music throughout the event, and the Bigfoot mascot is available for photo opportunities.
The following distances are available for participants:
- Kids Dash - A non-timed 50-meter dash for children aged 10 and under.
- 1 Mile Run - A non-timed event designed for all experience levels.
- 5K Run - A chip-timed 3.11-mile course.
- Quarter Marathon - A chip-timed 6.55-mile course.
- Half Marathon - A chip-timed 13.1-mile course.
- Virtual Run - An option to participate remotely.
Participant Information
All finishers across all distances receive a custom shirt and a medal designed to function as a belt buckle. Water stations are positioned along the course to assist runners. Trophies are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers in the timed events, and specialized pins are provided for masters and age group winners. Packet pickup is conducted at the stadium on the morning of the race.
Participants can register as individuals or join groups for eligibility in group discounts. A specific "Volunteer then Run" option is available for the 5K distance, allowing a limited number of individuals to assist with race operations before participating in the run.
