Race Information
The Rodeo Stampede takes place in Marble Falls, Texas at the Marble Falls Mustang Stadium. The race offers multiple distances.
Events
The event includes the following race distances:
- Kids Dash (for children 10 and under, approximately 50 meters)
- 1 Mile Run
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Virtual Run
Features and Awards
All finishers receive a medal and an event shirt. The medal for this race is a functional belt buckle. A DJ provides music at the event and announces each finisher. A Cowboy Costume Contest is held, with one winner chosen by crowd vote. The costume contest winner receives a free entry to a future Bigfoot race, a trophy, and a prize pack. The Bigfoot mascot will be present for photos and encouragement.
For the timed events (5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon), awards are given for the first overall male and female finishers and first male and female Masters finishers (40+). Age group awards are also presented.
Aid stations with water are available on the course. Post-race snacks and refreshments are provided. The courses may include a mix of paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Registration and Volunteering
Participants can volunteer for various roles before and during the event. A "Volunteer then Run" option is available for the 5K distance, limited to the first five registrants. Full event volunteers receive a race shirt and can choose between a free future race entry or a digital gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
