Bluebonnet Trail Run 50 Miler
The Bluebonnet Trail Run takes place on March 28, 2027 at Turkey Bend Recreation Area in Marble Falls, Texas. The event offers a set of trail races that run along Lake Travis shorelines, wooded paths, and bluebonnet meadows. Trail conditions are weather dependent and routes may be adjusted to protect natural areas.
Multiple race options are offered:
- 50 miles
- 50K
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
Some marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K races are presented under the Million Bluebonnets branding. Camping sites are available at the recreation area during the event period. All participants receive a finisher medal.
The event is organized by Fit Foundation volunteers in aid of Healthy Kids Running Series Cedar Park. Net proceeds after event expenses will be donated to HKRS Cedar Park to support youth running programs, including equipment, registration assistance, and program development. Donations to HKRS Cedar Park are accepted separately.
