ATW Nottingham Holme Run
The ATW Nottingham Holme Run takes place at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. The event features a flat, tarmac course that circles the regatta lake. Because the route is traffic-free and pancake-flat, it is designed for participants looking to achieve personal best times. The distances are accurately measured and certified.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 5 km (minimum age 11)
- 10 km (minimum age 15)
- Half Marathon (minimum age 17)
- Family Fun Run (free of charge)
The event includes marshal support throughout the course, and finishers receive custom-designed medals, snacks, and other goodies. Digital services such as complimentary event photos are also provided. The venue, Holme Pierrepont County Park, offers on-site parking for a fee charged by the facility.
Early registration is available on the Friday and Saturday prior to the event at a local running store, allowing participants to collect their race bibs in advance. The event partners with Alzheimer's Research UK, providing opportunities for participants to fundraise or donate during the registration process. The organizer also offers a transfer policy that allows entries to be moved to future events up to 48 hours before the race under specific circumstances.
