Asheville Chamber Challenge
The Asheville Chamber Challenge is a community wellness event organized by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce at 36 Montford Avenue, Asheville, NC. The event is presented as a friendly competition between businesses in the Asheville area and includes both in-person and virtual participation options.
Race services and logistics include a drive-thru packet pickup the day before the event in the Asheville Chamber parking lot, with entrance from Montford Avenue and exit onto Hill Street. There is no race day registration or packet pickup. Registrations made by April 12 include a complimentary short sleeve shirt; after that date shirts are available only in limited quantities and sizes.
The event lists a registration structure for the 5k with early, standard, and late registration pricing windows. The event also supports fundraising through the PCI Fund of the Community Betterment Foundation. Sponsors named for the event include local organizations and businesses such as Eaton, YMCA of WNC, Highland Brewing, Pratt & Whitney, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, and others.
