Race Details
The event features a 5k race and a Little Leprechaun Dash. The 5k is chip-timed. The Little Leprechaun Dash is an untimed event with a 0.25 mile distance.
The 5k registration includes a finisher medal, race shirt, chip timing, one Trailside beer or non-alcoholic beverage for participants 21 and over, and a donation to the Mills River Partnership. A virtual 5k option is available where swag is mailed after the event.
Awards are given for the 5k. Overall top three male, female, and nonbinary runners receive gift certificates to Fleet Feet Asheville. Age group winners receive a Trailside Brewing pint glass. Virtual runners are not eligible for awards.
Event Policies
Strollers are permitted but must start at the back. Dogs are allowed at the brewery but cannot run in the race. Service animals require prior approval.
The organizer has a no-refund policy. Registration transfers to another runner or to the virtual option are possible up to five days before the event.
Schedule and Logistics
Packet pick-up is available on the day before the race at Trailside Brewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on race day starting at 8:30 AM. The Little Leprechaun Dash starts first, followed by the 5k. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
