Asheville Marathon and Half (2026)
The Asheville Marathon and Half is a road racing event based at Pack Square Park, Court Plaza in Asheville, North Carolina. Courses are routed through downtown and nearby areas, with specific highlights listed as historic neighborhoods, the River Arts District, and miles along the French Broad River Greenway. The half marathon course is USATF certified; the marathon will be recertified and sanctioned prior to the event as a Boston qualifier. The course is subject to change and city permit was pending.
The event offers in-person and virtual participation options and is the first event in the Appalachian Trilogy series. Packet pickup and a race expo are scheduled at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Asheville - Biltmore Village, with emergency bib pickup available at the Hilton Garden Inn Asheville Downtown on race morning.

Included with registration are a dri-fit event shirt (unisex and women's sizes while available), a commemorative finisher medal, a goody bag, complimentary race photos, course markings and interactive maps, professional chip timing with live results, spectator-friendly routing, live music on course and at the finish, a complimentary shuttle from the host hotel, and a complimentary post-race beer or ice cream for eligible participants.
