Asheville Marathon and Half : Pack Square Park, Asheville, NC
The New Belgium Asheville Marathon & Half returns on March 20, 2027, marking its 15th year. The event is presented by New Belgium and is based at Pack Square Park / Court Plaza in downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
The courses highlight the city’s historic neighborhoods, downtown streets, the River Arts District, and miles along the French Broad River Greenway. Both the half marathon and the marathon are USATF certified, and the marathon is a Boston-qualifying event. Certification numbers are provided: Half Marathon NC26001DF and Marathon NC26002DF. The event is USATF sanctioned; city permit is pending and the course is subject to change.

An entry includes access to the pre-race expo and packet pickup, a complimentary dri-fit event shirt (unisex and women's sizes while available), a commemorative finisher medal, a goody bag, complimentary race photos, professional chip timing with live results, course markings and maps, live music on course and at the finish, local prizes, and a complimentary post-race beer from New Belgium for those 21+. There is a paid option to have the race bib and shirt mailed in advance. Packet pickup and the race expo are held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown.
