Army Ten-Miler

The Army Ten-Miler (ATM) is an annual road race held in Washington, D.C., with the start and finish area located at the Pentagon. First established in 1985, the event is conducted to support Army fitness goals, promote the Army, and build community relations. All race proceeds are directed toward Soldier MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) programs.

Participants can choose from several event formats:

  • 10 miles (In-Person)
  • 10 miles (Virtual)
  • Youth Run
  • 250 Miles For America (Virtual Challenge)

The event includes an official race expo where participants can pick up their packets. Additional weekend activities include a pasta dinner and the presence of "Hooah Tents" on race day for team reunions and spirit. General registration is open to the public without specific qualification requirements, though the event also features dedicated categories for military and civilian teams.

The race utilizes a wave start system and provides official scoring for participants. For those unable to attend the main event in Washington, D.C., the organization supports a Shadow Run series at various locations. Official gear and professional photography and video services are also available for runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
