Army Ten-Miler - Washington, D.C.
The Army Ten-Miler is an annual road race held each October in Washington, D.C. The 42nd edition is scheduled for October 11, 2026. The signature distance is 10 miles and the event is offered in both in-person and virtual formats.
Started in 1985, the race is organized to promote the Army, build esprit de corps, support Army fitness goals, and enhance community relations. Race proceeds benefit Soldier MWR programs. General registration is open to everyone and is presented by General Dynamics.
Event weekend features an expo and related activities, including a pasta dinner, a youth run, team registration and management, packet pickup, and official gear sales. Additional offerings include a virtual youth run, the Run 250 Miles For America challenge, Hooah Tent reservations, shadow runs, volunteer opportunities, and results tracking.
