The event includes a kid’s dash, a free non-timed 1/2 mile run. Pre-registration for the kid’s dash costs $15 and includes a Turkey Trot shirt and medal; children may also sign up on race morning at no charge. The race uses disposable RFID timing chips attached to the reverse side of race numbers; results will be available online. Racer amenities include finisher medals, post-race refreshments, awards for overall and age-group winners, and a Turkey Trot t-shirt or beanie (register by November 13 to guarantee t-shirt size). Organizers ask participants to consider bringing a non-perishable food item for The St. Rose Food Pantry; donors are entered in a raffle draw. Parking is available at the Anthem Community Center, with additional parking at the Anthem Community Park and on Whitman Street. Packet pickup is available prior to race day at Tortoise & Hare Sports and on the event day at the Anthem Community Center. All registrations are final; event insurance is available during checkout.
