ANTHEM TURKEY TROT - Overview
The Anthem Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving running event held on November 26, 2026 at the Anthem Community Center, 41130 N Freedom Way, Anthem, AZ 85086. The event offers a 10 km run and a 5 km run/walk, plus a kid’s dash. The kid’s dash is a non-timed 1/2 mile run; pre-registration online costs $15 (increasing to $20 after November 20) and includes a Turkey Trot shirt and medal. Registration on the event day is available at no charge for the kid’s dash.
Chip timing is used with disposable RFID chips located on the reverse side of race numbers. Results will be posted online. Finisher medals and post-race refreshments are provided. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in each distance and to age-group placings. Age groups for the 5 km include youth categories from ages 5-6 up to 80+; the 10 km age groups start at 10-14 and extend to 80+.

Parking is available at the Anthem Community Center, though the lot is expected to fill up. Additional parking is listed at Anthem Community Park (coordinates 33.85883607960105, -112.13545843451728) and on Whitman Street between Gavillan Peak Parkway and Freedom Way. Registration fees vary by date; there is an option to decline a shirt or beanie for a $5 registration discount. All registrations are final; refunds, credits, and transfers are not offered.
