ANTHEM TURKEY TROT
The Anthem Turkey Trot is a community running event held on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at the Anthem Community Center in Anthem, Arizona. The event offers timed races for two main distances and a free non-timed kids dash.
Distances include:
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Run/Walk
The kid's dash is a half mile non-timed run. Pre-registering a child online costs $20 and includes a Turkey Trot shirt or beanie and a medal. Children may also be entered on race morning at no charge.
Participants receive finisher medals and post-race refreshments. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers in each distance and to top three age-group finishers. Age categories for the 5 km start at 5/6 and extend up to 80 plus; 10 km age categories begin at 10/14 and extend up to 80 plus.
Chip timing is used with disposable RFID timing chips attached to race numbers; results will be available online. There is an option during registration to decline the event shirt or beanie for a $5 discount; that discount, if used, applies to all registrations in the same transaction. All registrations are final; refunds, credits and transfers are not offered.
Parking is available at the Anthem Community Center but the lot can fill. Additional parking is available at Anthem Community Park with a short walk across the bridge, and on nearby surface streets.
