TRI 4 THE CURE AZ : Presented by Tri Scottsdale
TRI 4 THE CURE AZ is a multisport event at the Anthem Community Center in Anthem, AZ. The program includes multiple race formats held around the community center and pool, with courses organized into looped bike and run segments and pool-based swims.
Distances offered:
- Sprint Triathlon - 400 m pool swim, 20 km bike (3 loops), 5 km run
- Super Sprint Triathlon - 200 m pool swim, 12 km bike (2 loops), 2 km run
- Sprint Aquabike - 400 m swim, 20 km bike
- Super Sprint Aquabike - 200 m swim, 12 km bike
- Sprint Duathlon - 5 km run, 20 km bike, 2 km run
- Super Sprint Duathlon - 2 km run, 12 km bike, 2 km run
- 5 km run and relay categories
The swim takes place in a pool with athletes started individually and required to enter feet first; each 200 m corresponds to eight pool lengths. The bike course uses a designated lane separating cyclists from vehicular traffic. Timing is electronic with triathlon chips; chips must be worn on the left ankle and returned after the finish. Lost or unreturned chips will be charged.
Participants receive a long sleeve race hoodie option, post-race refreshments and finisher medals. Awards are given to top overall and age group finishers. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
