An Res Hellys
An Res Hellys is a 10 miles (16 kilometres) multi terrain running event held on 8 March 2026 with start and finish in Helston, Cornwall. The route runs through the National Trust Penrose Estate and is part of the Cornwall Grand Prix Road Racing Series. The course is a single loop.
Race administration is based at the Old Cattle Market, Helston, TR13 0SR. Registration is collected at Race HQ and pre‑entered competitors must pick up their race numbers on the day. There is no official baggage storage; bags left in the hall are at the owner's risk.
The event uses chip timing and final placings are determined by gun to chip time. Timing chips are worn on the ankle and must be returned after the race. The first 400 entries are guaranteed an event medal.
Race categories include overall male and female placings, age group and veteran categories, and male and female team prizes with scoring based on six counters. MP3 players and personal audio devices are banned under series rules for safety reasons. Dogs, wheelchairs, wheeled carriages and cycles are not permitted on the course.
Parking near the Race HQ is limited. Free parking is available at the Fairground Car Park about 400 m from the Race HQ; additional small public car parks and on‑street options are also noted. Toilets are available at Race HQ and food and drink can be purchased at the Lakeside Café; there are no changing rooms or showers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
