Event details
The Falmouth Mob Match is organised by Falmouth Running Club and takes place on 23 November 2025. It is the 37th annual running of the event. The race distance is 5 miles on measured roads. Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £17.50 and Non Member £19.50. Entries so far are 356 participants. The minimum age is 15 on race day. The event holds Race Licence number 29850 and Course Accuracy certificate number 18/268.
Race format and facilities
The course starts around Pendennis Headland, follows Falmouth seafront past Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches, and finishes outside the Falmouth Hotel. The event is a team race for clubs, gyms and running groups. Clubs affiliated to the Cornwall Road Running and Racing Group keep their Division (1, 2 or 3) from 2024 unless changed before the race. Non-affiliated clubs and gyms are placed in Division 3. There are prizes for male, female and mixed teams and trophies presented at Race HQ; CRRRG awards are also presented to individuals who have completed eight or more GP races.
Facilities include first aid cover, toilets at Race HQ and on Castle Beach, bag drop at Race HQ, massages by Fit Foundation, and a café and licensed bar at Race HQ. There is no water station on course; handheld bottles are permitted and water will be available at the finish. Entries after 7 November may not be guaranteed a race top; every runner is intended to receive a Mob Match 25 long sleeve running top.
