Falmouth Mob Match
The Falmouth Mob Match is the 38th annual team road race, held on 29 November 2026. It is a measured 5 mile course that starts around Pendennis Headland, runs along Falmouth seafront past Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches, and finishes outside the Falmouth Hotel.
The event is organised as a team competition. Runners score points that contribute to their team placing. It is open to clubs affiliated with the Cornwall Road Running and Racing Group and, following a recent trial, to all comers such as gyms, sports clubs and groups of friends. Prizes are planned for male and female teams in each division, with some mixed team prizes available across divisions. Trophies and CRRRG awards for individuals who have completed eight or more GP races will be presented at Race HQ.
Every finisher is scheduled to receive a Mob Match 26 long sleeve winter running top in ladies and men fits; entries made after 8 November may not be guaranteed a top on the day. The minimum age is 15 on race day and the race has a 90 minute cut-off. There is no mid-course water station; water will be available at the finish and runners may use handheld bottles with careful disposal. First aid, toilets, bag drop, post-race refreshments, a pop up sports shop, massages at Race HQ, spot prizes and a free beer or alcohol free alternative for finishers are included.
