Event details
The Falmouth Mob Match is the 37th annual running event, scheduled for Sunday 23rd November 2025 in Falmouth. It is a measured 5 miles road race that starts around Pendennis Headland, follows Falmouth seafront past Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches, and finishes outside the Falmouth Hotel. The event is a team competition for clubs; it is open to clubs affiliated to the Cornwall Road Running and Racing Group and, for 2025, also to non-affiliated clubs and gyms. Non-affiliated clubs are placed in Division 3. Minimum age on race day is 15. Entries opened on 25 September 2025 and close on 22 November 2025. Entry fees are listed as £17.50 for UKA members and £19.50 for non-members. The entry list shows 142 participants to date.
Logistics and prizes
There will be a prize giving at Race HQ, the Princess Pavilion, with team prizes by division for male, female and mixed teams. Each finisher scores points toward their team placing. Every runner receives a Mob Match 25 long sleeve running top in a ladies or men’s fit; entries after 7 November may not be guaranteed a top on the day. The race has a 75 minute cut-off and a course accuracy certificate number 18/268; the race licence is pending. Facilities include first aid cover, toilets at Race HQ and Castle Beach, a bag drop at Race HQ, massages by Fit Foundation, and a cafe and licensed bar at Race HQ.
