Fordh Sen Mighal
Fordh Sen Mighal is a point to point running event on the Cornish calendar, scheduled for 4 December 2027. The course follows the European cultural route from Lelant on the north coast to Marazion on the south coast and is organised by Bys Vyken Events.
The event starts at St Uny's Church in Lelant, Cornwall TR26 3DY. It is permitted under ARC Permit Number ARC/27. Two entry categories are listed: affiliated entry priced at £34.00 and non affiliated (UKA/ARC clubs) entry priced at £36.00.
Entry, refund and deferral rules are stated: refunds are available up to four weeks before the event and deferrals up to two weeks before the event; deferrals cannot be refunded at a subsequent race. Crew are allowed on the route but support runners are not permitted.
The organiser notes that running on road, trail or coastal terrain involves hazards and that participants should be medically able, trained and equipped. Participants accept the risks associated with weather, traffic, animals, light levels and surface conditions. If the Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning the race cannot go ahead; organisers may reschedule the event or, if rescheduling is not possible, hold the run virtually.
