Trevithick 12km
The Trevithick 12km is a road race that starts and finishes in Camborne and runs on undulating, mainly quiet country roads. It is the first race in the Cornwall Grand Prix road racing series and is organised by Carn Runners. The listed venue is Camborne Science and International Academy on Cranberry Road, Camborne, Cornwall.
The event traces its roots to 1998 when it began as the Blaythorne 10 with 80 participants and later became known as the Storm Force 10, run over ten miles. It has since evolved into the Trevithick 12k, with the current format first held in 2026. Historically the event has attracted large fields, with reports of entries exceeding 600 runners in some years.
Entries open on Friday 9 October 2026 and close on Wednesday 13 January 2027. The minimum age to compete is 17 or older. Entry fees are listed in GBP, with different rates for affiliated and non affiliated runners. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, and an optional long sleeved technical shirt is available to purchase for entries made before 1 December.
The race forms part of a series of Cornish Grand Prix events and is organised as an offline, in person road race by the local running club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
