Event overview

The Trevithick 12km is a road race held on Sunday 18 January 2026 in Camborne, Cornwall. The race starts and finishes at Camborne Science and International Academy, Cranberry Road. The course is a 12 km loop on undulating, mainly quiet country roads. The event is organised by Carn Runners and is the first race in the Cornwall Grand Prix road-racing series.

Entries, history and facilities

Entries open on 1 November 2025 and close on 14 January 2026 at 12:00. The event lists 625 participants so far. Minimum age is 17 or older on the event date. Entry fees are: ARC/UKA affiliated £17.00 and non-affiliated £19.00. To enter, competitors must register or log in with SiEntries. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. A long-sleeved technical shirt is available to purchase for entries made before 7 December.

The race began in 1998 as the Blaythorne 10 with about 80 participants. It was later known as the Storm Force 10, a 10-mile race that marked the start of the Grand Prix season, and has since evolved into the Trevithick 12k. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
