Course and logistics

The route starts on Perranporth Beach and uses coastal paths, dunes and moorland. It is multi-terrain with steep dune ascents and descents, some faster runnable sections, and more than 1000 feet of total climbing. The Penhale Dunes are included on the course; the area is a designated SSSI and SAC and consent for the event has been granted by Natural England, with support from Cornwall Wildlife Trust and local landowners. The race is cupless with no water stations on the course; water will be available only at the finish, so runners are advised to carry personal hydration. Toilets and parking are available on the seafront and at Wheal Leisure car park; toilets are also at the Surf Club (Race HQ) and the Watering Hole pub. There is a bag drop at the Surf Club and race numbers are collected at Race HQ before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
