ALS Ride for Life Run for Donna 2026
This event is an inaugural community fundraising run and walk held on August 29, 2026 at Ronkonkoma Middle School, 501 Peconic St., Ronkonkoma, NY. The event offers two course options and raises money for a medical trust fund and for ALS Ride for Life, a 501C charity established in 1998 that supports ALS research and direct assistance for people with ALS.

- 5K run or walk
- 1 mile walk
Registration is available online with early and regular pricing tiers. Registration fees are non refundable and may include processing fees. Shirts are guaranteed for participants who register before August 1. Participants who register three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib. Live online, text, and email timing results will be provided and finish line photos are free on the same day.
Awards will be given to the top three overall in each gender category and to top finishers in multiple age groups, including youth and several adult brackets. Bib pickup is available from event staff starting one hour before the event, and last minute registrants can receive their bib number by text shortly after registering.
