Airlie Beach Triathlon Festival 2026

The Coral Sea Marina Resort Airlie Beach Triathlon takes place on 25 and 26 July 2026. This will be the 26th edition of the event, listed on the North Queensland triathlon calendar. The organiser notes the event is held in the Whitsundays and refers to a mean temperature in August of around 24 degrees. Daily flights operate via Proserpine or Hamilton Island airports for access to the area.

Races, distances and course information

The festival offers a sprint race and a flagship standard (full) distance race. A junior triathlon provides distances for children across age groups. An ocean swim is offered as a swim-only event with three distances:
