12th Annual Aid the Silent 5K Run/Walk
The 12th Annual Aid the Silent 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for June 6, 2026 in Boerne, Texas at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. The event offers an in person 5K and a virtual "stay at home" 5K option. Online registration and the virtual entry close on June 5 at 6:00 PM. Race day registration is available at the event site. No refunds.
Proceeds support Aid the Silent and programs for deaf and hard of hearing children and teens, including Deaf Resources, Deaf Education, Deaf Ministry, and Deaf Awareness. Free entry is available to deaf or hard of hearing participants; an audiogram is required.
Entry fees vary by registration period. The virtual special is $25. Early bird registration through 4/14/26 is $35. From 4/14/26 to 5/15/26 the fee is $40. From 5/16/26 to 6/5/26 the fee is $45. Race day registration is listed at $50 and shirt availability is limited.
Registration is available online or by mail with a 5/25/26 postmark deadline for mail entries. Packet pickup is scheduled Thursday 6/4/26 at Aid the Silent in San Antonio, Friday 6/5/26 at Rudkin Productions in Boerne, and on race day morning for participant packets. Teams of 10 receive a five dollar refund to each team member after the tenth team entry is complete.
Awards are given gun timed for overall male and female, and chip timed for the top three male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
