Event overview
The 12th Annual Aid the Silent 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Boerne, Texas. The event is based at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St., Boerne, TX 78006. There are two event options: an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a virtual 5K. All proceeds support Aid the Silent, an organization serving deaf and hard-of-hearing children and teens. Funds will support programs listed as Deaf Resources, Deaf Education, Deaf Ministry, and Deaf Awareness. Free entry is offered to participants who are deaf or hard-of-hearing; an audiogram is required.

Registration, logistics and awards
Online registration and the virtual option close on June 6 (online registrations close at 6:00 PM), and same-day registration is available at the race site. Entry fees listed in the event information include a virtual rate of $25 and tiered in-person fees with an early-bird level that guarantees a shirt. A 10-person team discount is applied after the 10th team member signs up and is refunded to each team member. Packet pickup is scheduled on the days before the race at two locations and there is additional packet pickup on race morning. Awards use gun time for overall male and female winners and chip time for the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
