Event details
The 12th Annual Aid the Silent 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Boerne, Texas. The in-person event is set at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St., Boerne, TX 78006. A virtual version of the 5K is also offered. Proceeds support Aid the Silent and its programs in Deaf Resources, Deaf Education, Deaf Ministry, and Deaf Awareness.
Registration, packet pick-up and awards
Online registration and the virtual event close June 5, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by May 25, 2026. Entry fee schedule for the 5K is listed by date: virtual special $25; early bird (by April 14, 2026, guaranteed shirt) $35; April 14 to May 15 $40; May 16 to June 5 (shirt size not guaranteed) $45; race-day registration $50 (shirts upon availability). There are no refunds. Teams of 10 receive a $5.00 discount refunded to each member after the 10th person signs up. Free entry is available to deaf or hard-of-hearing participants; an audiogram is required.
Packet pick-up is available Thursday, June 4 (12:00 pm - 6:00 pm) at Aid the Silent, 8126 Broadway St., San Antonio, TX 78209, and Friday, June 5 (11:00 pm - 6:00 pm) at Rudkin Productions, 34910 IH-10 West, Bldg #701, Boerne, TX 78006. Race day packet pick-up and registration are offered prior to the event.
Timing and awards: overall male and female results will be gun timed. Age group awards (top three male and female) use chip time for these groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
