Freedom 15K & 5K
The Freedom 15K & 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 at Tejas Rodeo, 401 Obst Rd, Bulverde, TX 78163. The event features mapped courses that run through the Texas Hill Country and are described as scenic and rolling.

Registration windows and fees are specified by event distance. Registration for the 15K opens March 27, 2026; registration for the 5K opens March 17, 2026. Registration for both distances closes May 1, 2026. Published entry fees are $40 for the 15K and $25 for the 5K.
A portion of registration fees, 100% of donations, and 100% of sponsorships will benefit Acacia Medical Mission, a nonprofit clinic providing free medical care to uninsured and underserved individuals in the Bulverde and Spring Branch community.
Packet pickup is scheduled at iRun Texas Stone Oak in San Antonio on Thursday, July 2 from 12:00pm to 6:30pm, at Tejas Rodeo on Friday, July 3 with hours to be announced, and at the race site on Saturday, July 4 from 6:15am to 7:15am.
Awards include overall and masters male and female, plus first place in each age group. Age groups are 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Registration and timing chips are required to be eligible for awards. There are no refunds and no shirt, medal, or prize pickup after race day.
