Freedom 15K and 5K : Bulverde, TX
This event takes place on July 4 at Tejas Rodeo in Bulverde, Texas. It features a scenic, rolling road course through the Texas Hill Country with two measured distances.
Distances include:
- 15K road race on a scenic, rolling course through the Texas Hill Country.
- 5K road race on a shorter course; route details pending.
Registration windows and fees are specified by the organizer. Listed fees are $40 for the 15K and $25 for the 5K. A portion of registration fees, 100% of donations, and 100% of sponsorships from the event will benefit Acacia Medical Mission, a nonprofit clinic that provides free medical care to uninsured and underserved individuals in the Bulverde-Spring Branch community.
Packet pickup is available at Tejas Rodeo on the day before the race (hours to be announced) and on race morning at the race site. Awards are given to overall and masters male and female finishers and to age-group winners in both the 5K and 15K. Age groups are 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. First place in each age group is awarded; no duplicate awards. Registration and timing chips are required for award eligibility.
There are no refunds for race registration; the organizer recommends purchasing race insurance because event materials are ordered well in advance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
