Event Overview
The Texas Tough 10 Mile is one of three on-site race distances offered, alongside a 10k and a 5k. The event takes place in Eisenhower Park, located at 19399 NW Military Hwy in San Antonio.
Course Details
The 10-mile route starts at Eisenhower Park and goes through the hills on the property, with views of the San Antonio skyline. Runners leave the park on the Salado Creek path, heading northwest through the hills on San Antonio's north side. Participants make a turn-around and return to the park, traveling through more hills before finishing at the Eisenhower pavilion.
Event Features
The organizer is E-Dragon Productions. The event is described as more than just a race. Pre-registered participants receive a sublimated running shirt; 10-mile runners can choose a singlet instead. A finisher medal is planned for pre-registered runners. Age group awards are given for categories from 19 & under to 70+. There is a DJ and an announcer at the finish line. Breakfast tacos and coffee are provided for runners after the race. Virtual race options are also available.
Registration and Logistics
Registration for the 10-mile event is priced at $60, with an increase scheduled after April 13, 2026. Packet pickup is available both before the race and on race day. The event is chip-timed for the 5k and 10k distances. Restrooms are available at the Eisenhower pavilion. A refund policy allows for refunds up to 30 days before the race, minus processing fees.
