Adventure Trail Run
The event on October 3, 2026 takes place at Prince William Forest Park near Triangle, VA and is organized by Athletic Equation Trail Series. The event formats listed include 30 km, a 12 hour timed event, and a 2 person relay.
The course is a 6.5 mile looped figure eight on 100% trails, mixing single track and fire road. The approximate elevation gain and loss is 650 feet per loop. There are two aid stations: the primary aid station is at the start and finish and will provide a plentiful array of food; the second aid station will provide water only. Prince William Forest Park covers more than 17,000 acres and has over 40 miles of trails. The 6.5 mile loop differs from the organizer's 24 hour course and is described as intended to test trail running skills across varied trail surfaces and undulating terrain.
