St. Andrew the Apostle 10K/5K/Fun Run, Clifton VA
The St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic School presents its 18th annual road races and fun run on September 19, 2026, at St. Andrew the Apostle Church and School, 6720 Union Mill Road, Clifton, Virginia. The event is a community fundraiser for the school PTO.

The 5K and 10K use a USATF certified out-and-back course through the Balmoral Greens neighborhood. The course features minimal turns, long straightaways and rolling hills on paved asphalt in good condition. After departing the school parking area, runners encounter a 2.3 mile straightaway along Balmoral Greens Avenue, then turn onto Balmoral Forest Road. The 5K turnaround is about 1.4 miles down the first road; the 10K turnaround is about 0.6 miles down Balmoral Forest Road. A timed segment on Balmoral Greens Avenue is noted for King of the Mountain competition.
The Kid's Fun Run takes place on the school athletic field. It is an untimed, themed roughly one-mile event composed of four laps around the field with two color splashing stations per lap.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women in the 5K and 10K, and to the top two finishers in each age category. A $50 cash bonus is offered for course records based on gun time for open and Masters divisions. All 5K and 10K participants receive a race shirt if registered by September 1. Packet pick-up is available the evening before at the Parish Hall and on race morning at the St. Andrew parking lot. Race day registrations accept cash or check.
