9/11 Heroes Run - Saginaw, Michigan
The 9/11 Heroes Run in Saginaw, Michigan takes place on September 13, 2026 at Saginaw Valley State University in University Center, MI. The event honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, and aims to activate and unite communities while supporting local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
The event program includes a 5K Run, a 5K Ruck, and a volunteer option. The rucking division is offered in partnership with GORUCK. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks.
