5K/8K Superhero Run
The event is a themed running event held at 156 Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park, FL. The certified 5K and 8K courses run out to River Road along the St. Johns River, turn at designated points depending on distance, and return along the same path to finish on Reed Street. A one mile fun run for children is also offered.

The race includes a Superhero Village with live music and encourages costumes. All participants receive custom superhero race shirts. Finishers of the 5K and 8K receive finisher medals; children 13 and under in the one mile fun run also receive medals. The 8K has awards for top finishers overall, a masters category, and multiple male and female age group awards from 10 & under through 80+; there are no awards for the 5K.
Packet pickup is available at Grace Episcopal Day School and the 1st Place Sports Baymeadows store, with any remaining packets moved to the race site. Registration is available online, at 1st Place Sports stores, or on race day while space remains. A virtual option allows completion of the 1 mile, 5K, or 8K remotely with shirt and medal pickup at packet pickup. Bikes and dogs are not allowed on the course; biking next to a runner can result in disqualification. Parking is available in nearby shopping centers and at the Moosehaven Retirement Community.
