Community Partners of El Paso Presents: 5K To Fill the Room! takes place on April 19, 2026 in El Paso, TX at Ascarate Park - 6900 Delta (79905). The event raises supplies such as diapers, socks, and school supplies for children in foster care or with an open CPS case. There are three race options:
- 5 km run or walk (timed event)
- 1 mile Family Walk (non-timed, non-competitive)
- 50 m Kids Dash for children 10 and under; all children receive a medal
Registration, awards and packet pickup
Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 5K, $25 for the 1 mile, and $10 for the Kids Dash. Unisex shirts are provided to the first 350 participants who register before 03/19/2025; shirt or size is not guaranteed after that date. Awards are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals in these age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. There are also awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd largest teams. Packet pickup is at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, 501 Hawkins Blvd, on Thursday and Friday, April 16 and 17, from 9am to 6pm.
