Community Partners of El Paso Presents: 5K To Fill the Room! is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta, El Paso, TX 79905. The event collects essentials such as diapers, socks, and school supplies for children in foster care or with an open CPS case. The 5k run/walk is a timed event; the family 1 mile walk is non-timed; a 50 meter Kids Dash is for children 10 and under. All children in the Kids Dash will receive a medal. Unisex shirts are guaranteed for the first 350 participants who register before 03/19/2025; shirt or size is not guaranteed after that date.

Listed entry fees are $30 for the 5K, $25 for the family 1 mile walk, and $10 for the Kids Dash. Awards include 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals in age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Prizes are also given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd largest teams. Packet pickup is at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, 501 Hawkins Blvd., on Thursday and Friday, April 16 and 17, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
