5 For The Fallen : Memorial Day Honor Ruck
The 2nd Annual 5 For The Fallen Memorial March is a Memorial Day ruck held Monday, May 25, 2026, at the USS Cod in Cleveland, Ohio. The event gathers Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, and Civilians for a commemorative ruck in honor of service members who died in the line of duty. Participation supports the mission of T.A.P.S., the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
Ruckers follow a route through Cleveland with designated tribute points to remember the fallen. The event offers two distance options:
- 5 Mile Ruck
- 1 Mile Ruck
Perks listed for participants include a commemorative ruck patch, an option to purchase a soft-fit short sleeve shirt, and post-ruck snacks. Packet pick-up, a presentation with the national anthem, and finish line festivities are part of the schedule at the USS Cod site, and activities return to the USS Cod after the ruck.
