Event Overview

This is the 2nd Annual 5 For The Fallen event, also called the Memorial Day Honor Ruck 2026. The activity is a 5-mile ruck through Cleveland, starting and finishing at the USS Cod. The event is described as a meaningful and solemn tribute to honor service members who have died. Proceeds support the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (T.A.P.S.).

Schedule and Location

The event takes place on Monday, May 25, 2026. The schedule includes packet pick-up opening at 11:00 AM, a presentation and national anthem at 11:45 AM, and the ruck starting at 12:00 PM. Finish line festivities are scheduled from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM back at the USS Cod at 1201 North Marginal Road in Cleveland, Ohio.

Participation and Perks

The event is open to active duty service members, veterans, and civilians. Participants can choose between a 5-mile ruck and a 1-mile ruck. The route includes designated tribute points.
