The 12th Annual Head for the Cure 5K takes place in Cleveland at the Cleveland Metro Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way. The event is organized as a community run and walk with additional activities on race day, including a kids fun run, a program with recognitions, and post-race awards.
Funds raised at this event will locally benefit brain tumor research at the Cleveland Clinic, the Path to Hope program, and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives. The event lists a named sponsor, Novocure.
Support resources and event materials are provided for participants and teams. A Team Captain Kit is available to help organizers form teams and coordinate fundraising. Course and parking maps are published for the venue.
The event also includes several community recognitions that allow nominations for caregivers, healthcare professionals, survivors, and memorial tributes. These recognitions are titled Legacy of Love for caregivers, Healthcare Hero, Keeping the Faith for survivors, and Legacy of Hope for memorial tributes.
