4th of July 5k : Pensacola Beach
The 4th of July 5k takes place on July 4, 2026 at Pensacola Beach. The event includes both a 5K run and a 5k walk along a course described as scenic, flat, and hot. The start and finish are located at 69 Via De Luna, directly across from Springhill Suites Hotel.

Packet pick up is available on Thursday, July 3rd from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Running Wild Pensacola, 3012 E Cervantes St., and there is race day packet pick up at the start line. Parking is available on neighborhood streets off Via De Luna and in some parking lots; participants are asked not to block driveways or park in the campground.
Awards are given to overall top male and female, masters and grandmasters male and female, and the top three in each age group for males and females. A post-race party is held a couple of blocks from the finish at the Sneaky Tiki Bar, 17 Via De Luna. Post-race offerings include beer, hot dogs, watermelon, and $3 Bloody Marys for race registrants.
