4th of July 5K - Pensacola Beach
This event on July 4, 2026, offers a 5K run and a 5K walk along Pensacola Beach. Registration carries a fee of $35 and registration opens January 12, 2026 and closes February 4, 2026.

The course is described as scenic and flat, with the organizer noting warm conditions typically associated with the date. The start and finish are located at 69 Via De Luna, directly across from the Springhill Suites Hotel. Parking is available on neighborhood streets off Via De Luna and in some parking lots; participants are asked not to block driveways and to respect local businesses.
Packet pickup is available prior to race day at Running Wild Pensacola, 3012 E Cervantes St., with additional pickup at the start line on race day. A post race party takes place a few blocks from the finish at the Sneaky Tiki Bar, 17 Via DeLuna; the post race party includes beer, hot dogs, watermelon, and the Sneaky Tiki will offer $3 Bloody Marys for race registrants. Organizers request that attendees do not park in the campground.
Awards are given to overall top male and female, overall masters male and female, overall grandmasters male and female, and the top three in each age group for male and female divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
