4th of July 5K - Pensacola Beach
The event takes place on July 4, 2026, at Pensacola Beach, with the start and finish located at 69 Via De Luna, directly across from the Springhill Suites Hotel. The program includes two separate events covering the same distance.
- 5K Run (running only)
- 5K Walk (walking only)
The course is described as scenic and flat; hot conditions are noted. Registration opens January 12, 2026, and closes February 4, 2026. The registration fee is $35.
Packet pickup is available on Thursday, July 3 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Running Wild Pensacola, 3012 E Cervantes St., Pensacola, FL. Race day packet pickup is available on July 4 at the start line from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.
A post-race party is held a couple of blocks from the finish at the Sneaky Tiki Bar, 17 Via DeLuna. The post-race offerings include beer, hot dogs, and watermelon, and the Sneaky Tiki offers $3 Bloody Marys for race registrants.
Awards are presented for Overall Top Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, Overall Grandmasters Male and Female, and the top three finishers in each age group for both male and female categories.
Parking is available on neighborhood streets off Via De Luna and in some parking lots; blocking driveways and impacting businesses should be avoided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
