100 Marathon Club AGM Challenge
This is an in person challenge event hosted by RunForestRun in association with the 100 Marathon Club of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The venue is Park House School in Newbury, Berkshire.
The event uses a lapped course where one lap is 5 km. Runners may complete as many laps as they can within a six hour time limit. Completing a single lap qualifies a runner as a finisher. There is a handicap marathon open to 100 Marathon Club members only.
Distances and how they count
- One lap is 5 km.
- Four laps equals a half marathon.
- Eight laps equals a marathon.
- Nine or more laps counts as an ultra marathon.
Chip timing will be used and timing chips are collected on the day with race numbers. All finishers receive a bespoke medal featuring the club logo. An aid table and drinks table are available at the start and finish of each lap, offering savoury, sweet, fruit, gluten free and vegan options. The event is cupless.
Toilets and changing facilities are available at race headquarters. A bag drop is provided next to the start and finish line but it is unmanned and items are left at participants own risk. Free parking is available for cars, vans and motorhomes. Under 20s may not run over eight laps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
