100 Marathon Club AGM Challenge
Run Forest Running is hosting the AGM Marathon and timed event in association with the 100 Marathon Club of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at Park House School in Newbury. The course is lapped; one lap is approximately 3.4 miles and will be measured prior to the event. The event is open to all runners, including non club members, and specifies ages 18 plus.
The event is a timed format with a six hour time limit. Completing one lap constitutes a finisher. Runners may complete as many laps as they can within the time limit; the last lap must be started before the time limit expires. A handicap marathon will be available to 100 Marathon Club members only. Chip timing will be used and chips are collected on the day with the race number.
Distances
- Four laps equals a half marathon
- Eight laps equals a marathon
- Nine or more laps equals an ultra marathon
The course runs through Berkshire countryside and combines trails and pavement with a long pavement section along Monks Lane returning to Park House School. An aid and drinks table is provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, gluten free and vegan options. This is a cupless event. Toilets and changing facilities are available at race headquarters. Bag drop is unmanned and items are left at participants own risk. Free parking is provided for cars, vans and motorhomes. No refunds. A refundable £5 discount is offered to 100 Marathon Club members who enter the timed event or handicap before 31/07/2026. All finishers receive a bespoke medal featuring the club logo.
