100 Marathon Club AGM Challenge
The event is a timed, lapped running event held at Park House School in Newbury. The course is a mix of trails and pavement in the Berkshire countryside, with a long paved section along Monks Lane returning to the school. One lap is approximately 3.4 miles and the course will be measured prior to the event.
Runners may complete as many laps as they can within the six hour time limit; the last lap must be started before the clock reaches the cut off. Chip timing is used and timing chips are collected on the day together with the race number. There is also a handicap marathon open to 100 Marathon Club members only.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal featuring the club logo. An aid table and drinks table are provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, gluten free and vegan options. The event is cupless.
Facilities at the race headquarters include toilets and changing. A bag drop is available next to the start finish but it is unmanned and items are left at the participant's own risk. Free parking is available at the venue. Entry is listed for adults; runners under 20 may not run more than eight laps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
