Thames 10km
Thames 10km is a road running event organised by Barnes Fitness. The race returns under its current name after previously running as the O2O 10km. The course starts at Thames Valley Park in Reading and follows paths through Thames Valley Park Nature Reserve and along the banks of the River Thames. The route is completely traffic free and is flat for most of the distance, with one river bridge to cross twice.
A Kids Fun Run is held prior to the main event. The next edition is scheduled for 20 September 2026. Entry prices range from £7 for the Kids Fun Run to £26 for the 10 km event.
Event services and standards include chip timing with instant results, well signposted routes, friendly marshals, an inclusive atmosphere, event-specific metal medals, awards for podium and age group winners, on-site first aid, and free event photos available to download after the race.
